From We Are Change Chicago member John Uhlich:

I want to ask your help. Josh Meyer, a CIA/FBI scribbler who writes for the Tribune papers on terrorism, has been pushing the FBI’s story in almost direct contradiction of what credible eye-witnesses stated happened on Flt 253. I called him on it.
I sent him a few e-mails with links to information about what really happened. I got his work phone number in Washington and subsequently left a voice mail. A new article appeared in the MILive.com (link:Michigan Local News, Breaking News, Sports & Weather – MLive.com) and I sent him a link to that.
I called him this morning to follow-up and I was greeted with “If you don’t back off and stop calling me you asshole I am going to call the FBI and say that you are threatening me!” I called him a few choice names before I hung up.
Meyer’s reaction to my e-mails and call – which was not threatening at all (I’m not that stupid to threaten someone with bodily harm via e-mail or voicemail) - is a little strange unless this is the first time he’s been called out on his lies, which it probably is. He violently reacted to this out of all proportion. I suspect he is working for the FBI and/or CIA as a paid asset. After all, it was former CIA Directory William Colby who bragged that the CIA had hundreds of journalists on its payroll with Operation Mockingbird about 35 to 40 years ago.
And even though I didn’t sign my name to my first e-mail to him, he found out my name and where I work, threatening to forward the e-mail I sent to my employer! I said, “Go ahead! Do you think you’re scaring me?”
How I would like you to help is to phone Meyer (phone 202-824-8326) and call him on the lies he’s been writing about Flt 253. Or e-mail  him at Josh.Meyer@latimes.com. If he isn’t there, please leave a voice mail and ask him if he has heard of Kurt Haskell, the attorney who was on the flight and an eyewitness to what happened. Include the link to the story again. Here it is: Michigan Local News, Breaking News, Sports & Weather – MLive.com
Ask him why he hasn’t mentioned Haskell in his articles. Meyer bragged to me that he did report that another man was arrested! But, of course, he missed the biggest part of the real story: the patsy from Nigeria was allowed on the flight with no passport or other acceptable ID and was being shepherded by a “sharply dressed man” – according to Haskell – of apparent East-Indian descent. Sound like a set-up? You bet!
Anyway, any help you can render will be appreciated! Happy New Year to One and All!
John
